It’s been awhile since I’ve updated my site. I apologize. I have been busy, it was summer, and time just got away from me.

Anyhow, I just came across this sign (thanks to a tweet that scrolled down one of my Tweetdeck columns) and I couldn’t pass up posting it here. It’s a great addition to my quirky collection of Bad Signs.

And, with this post I hope to be able to start updating my site a bit more regularly.

I was on my way into Super One the other day when this little sign greeted me at the front door:

Is a misquito a new bug here in Idaho? I know we have an occassional MOSQUITO that prowls around, but this is the first I’ve read about misquitoes.

My daughter discovered this sign recently on a local bike path here in Coeur d’Alene. The ironic thing about this particular sign is that it is near the front of a school (Woodland Middle School, by the Comcast Building)! You would think/hope that one of the teachers would have called someone about the error on the sign.

Anyhow, just in case the mistake isn’t obvious to you, there should not be an apostrophe in the word “users.”

The odd thing is that there are many signs like this on the same trail. I haven’t checked all of them, but many of the other signs do not include the same mistake. Interesting…
