That quiz was right actually. I am from Ontario, Canada and the results were the Northeast.

Excellent.

It amazes me that a proof reader didn't catch that mistake. I see that kind of thing happen occasionally. "Alot" and "alright" are two other mistakes that people should know better than to make. Thanks a lot for the bug in the coffee visual. I'll be thinking about that next time I make coffee. I've got one that tops that though. When I was younger, my mom opened a can of greens. Inside was a gigantic grasshopper, intact. This had to be a bug from a foreign country because they don't get nearly that large here. There was probably more bug than greens in the can. So gross!

That is rather odd. Maybe a relative won that particular contract, therefore, it won't matter the number of spelling errors.

I am not left handed, but I am clumsy.

My younger sister is left handed and has used it as an excuse to get out of things like ironing, even now at the age of 24.

Thanks for the comment! One of my favorite PGA players is Phil Mickelson (he's left handed). I do have to say that I chuckled at your description of golf - loitering with clubs. A very accurate description!

"I’m left handed."
I just heard a thing on NPR about southpaws being exceptional athletes. Well, except in the arena of golf, but I don't consider that much of a sport. its more like loitering with clubs.

I'm from missouri, and it says I have a midland accent.

""You have a Midland accent" is just another way of saying "you don't have an accent." You probably are from the Midland (Pennsylvania, southern Ohio, southern Indiana, southern Illinois, and Missouri) but then for all we know you could be from Florida or Charleston or one of those big southern cities like Atlanta or Dallas. You have a good voice for TV and radio."

I guess we midlanders are the only ones who actually know how to use the English language right? :P

It obviously has to base its judgments off of presumed speech...how you THINK you would say a word verbally. Because of that, I think it must mess up, especially with people who have foreign accents. It is a fun test though; I'm glad you tried it. Thanks!
