Bad Signs Show Up in New Jersey Too

In order to balance things out a little I thought I would post a couple of pictures that came to me from New Jersey just so that North Idaho doesn’t look like the poorest spellers in the nation.

A friend of mine from Pittsgrove, NJ sent this picture to me via Facebook a few months ago:

Yes, it’s a real picture taken of a real misspelled traffic notice painted on the road. I can’t remember what intersection this was at in the Pittsgrove/Centerton area.

He also took this picture in nearby Pennsville, NJ and gave me permission to post it too:

So, there you go. Now I feel better, haha.

The Evil Spelling Gnomes Strike Again in North Idaho

Sigh. Finding signs, advertising, and other major spelling and grammatical mistakes in my hometown area is occurring much too frequently.

Here’s a picture of sign in front of an “unnamed church” in Hayden:

Naturally my brother, being the observant excellent photographer that he is, managed to include the street address of the “unnamed” church. So, y’all can go figure out exactly which church it is now.

Beyond the fact that I find the quote to be theologically unsound and weird, it’s obviously misspelled.
